.ppsx file is a PowerPoint 2007 slideshow file.
Currently only PowerPoint 2007 and PowerPoint 2010 use this file type. Previous PowerPoint
versions use .pps file type.
To break password protected PowerPoint 2007 slideshow file (.ppsx file) you can use

Password recovers all PowerPoint password types and supports all
PowerPoint versions (including PowerPoint 2007/2010).

Password to modify
PowerPoint document may contain a VBA project inside. To
recover password-protected VBA project you should use
VBA Password program.
